Abbey Case
Mentor
Born and raised in Boulder, Abbey graduated from the University of Colorado in 2016 with a BA in Psychology, with a particular interest in the mindfulness-based approach. Deeply believing in the mind-body connection, she pursued an intensive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training that specifically focused on using pranayama techniques as a tool to heal trauma. Craving new experiences, Abbey decided to travel Central and South America, teaching yoga along the way. Amongst her travels she found herself drawn towards helping people in need, and advocating for human rights. Her passion for social justice brought her to New York City where she worked and volunteered in the non-profit sector for the past couple of years. Missing the accessibility to the outdoors she made the decision to return to her roots, and put into practice her background in Psychology. In her free time she enjoys all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, as well as reading, and practicing Spanish.
